Hollywood Monsters are a prodigious music collective that currently includes; Steph Honde, Vinny Appice, and Ronnie Robson as the core, who bring with them an amazing collaborative of Internationally known musicians, all that come with huge resumes, performing on the various albums and in the live spectrum.

The band was founded in 2014 by Steph Honde while living and recording in Los Angeles, California.

The Monsters are currently working on the third Album entitled: “Thriving On Chaos”, once again having invited various Internationally recognized musicians to perform on its eleven song platform – with two bonus albums included in the collection.

​

Not only do the Hollywood Monsters have an amazing original soundtrack – they also celebrate some of the greatest rock songs of all time, fulfilled masterfully with a live energy that is second to none – turning the music dial to reflect the subconscious of our own life’s soundtrack.

​

Currently planning a tour for 2020 and beyond, the Hollywood Monsters exciting live performances transcend both era and genre; captivating their audiences with a masterfully curated set list and tour of selected talent from both the classic rock, heavy rock and metal genres.

Interview With Giancarlo Floridia And Timothy Gaines Of FAITHSEDGE 2019

 

 

Faithsedge was started in 2011 in Southern California by singer / songwriter Giancarlo Floridia. Giancarlo has worked with multi platinum artist / producers as Juan Croucier (Ratt), Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai /Alice Cooper), Jeff Pogan (Suicidal Tendencies) , Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline) and now has released multiple Faithsedge albums with praise among the melodic rock /metal fanbase.

 

Giancarlo has been featured in multiple online interviews around the world and magazines promoting the past few years for the Faithsedge debut (2011) and follow up to that The Answer of Insanity (2014) and Restoration (2016). With the return of the band and new album Bleed for Passion Giancarlo once again has recruited some serious hard rock powerhouses to take his vision of melodic rock / metal music / progressive to the next level.

 

 

Returning on lead guitar is former Dokken guitarist Alex De Rosso who has toured the world with Dokken sharing the stage and touring with The Scorpions, Whitesnake, Ratt, and many others. Alex De Rosso also has multiple studio works recording guitars for artist like Joseph Williams (Toto), Kelly Hansen (Foreigner) and Pamela Moore also known as Sister Mary from Queensryche’s opus concept album Operation: Mindcrime. Alex continues to write and perform in Italy and also does production and songwriting at his studio “The Cube”.

 

Also returning to the Faithsedge line up is ex-Stryper bass player Tim Gaines. Tim has multiple gold and platinum credits under his belt and the success of Stryper continuing for over 30 years. The Stryper fan base is strong as ever, releasing recent Billboard charting albums as “No More Hell To Pay” and the newly released “Fallen”. Tim’s punch and arena rock style fits in perfectly to the Faithsedge style as can be heard on the record. Tim has played bass live for artists such as Richard Marx, Bryan Duncan’s Nehosoul , Aldo Nova and his own band with Stryper guitarist Oz Fox called Sin Dizzy.

 

 

Handling the drum work is Matt Starr. Matt has done numerous tours and recordings for KISS guitar legend Ace Frehley and performed on Ace Frehley’s billboard charting at # 9 album “Space Invader” and “Spaceman” album which Matt also contributed to the vocal work alongside his drumming skills. Matt plays with the melodic rock giants Mr.Big which he has toured the world with over the past few years and released “Defying Gravity” album .

 

 

Matt’s thunderous drumming aligned with Tim Gaines bass playing is taking the Faithsedge sound to the next level.
The new album Bleed for Passion is all about bringing back the sounds from the 80’s and early 90’s with big guitars and in your face production but keeping an up to date spin on the lyrics to whats going on in the world today .

Interview With Mark Allen Lanoue Of Fiction Syxx 2019

FICTION SYXX has completed work on their sophomore release, ‘The Alternate Me’!

The album follows the acclaimed debut ‘Tall Dark Secrets’, released in 2017.

 

FICTION SYXX mixes progressive hard rock with a nuance of melodic rock. The first release from this project was a way to bring a talented core of seasoned musicians together and to bring several guest artists and what came out of the effort is a solid 11 songs of progressive rock.

 

The line-up had one change for the new album – Larry Hart (King Kobra/Montrose) on bass guitar takes over for Tony “The Fretless Monster” Franklin. This release is focused more on the core than their debut release ‘Tall Dark Secrets’. There are no guest artists on this one and JK Northrup & Mark Lanoue share the lead guitar duties. Prepare for a mix of melody, harmony, soaring slide, and at times SHRED!

Ted Axe is part of Canadian Punk Rock history as the notorious and legendary frontman
for The Action-“Canada’s First) Punk Band”.

 

Opening for The Stranglers and chosen to tour with The Ramones,The Action garnered
more press in one year than most self-respecting punk bands get in a lifetime and Ted
became known as an entertaining provocateur and a powerful vocalist. The Action
released one EP on Montreco Records containing their hit “TV’s On The Blink” and then
in true punk tradition self-destructed.

 

Ted has led his own bands since then and has lived and performed in London, LA and
Seattle eventually forming Sister Hyde there. and signing to Steel Heart Records in 2007.
With his new self-release SEX, HORROR, VIOLENCE produced by Rob Sanzo (Sum
41),and mastered by LA Rock icon, Jack Atlantis, Ted is getting world-wide radio-play

Interview With Nick Clayton And Joey VaGabond Of Vivid Vertigo 2019

 

What started as a group of friends with rock n roll dreams hanging out in the garage; evolved into a diverse project for 4 hungry emerging local artists hoping to bring something new to the scene. With a wide spectrum of influences, they pull it together in their writing to create the Vivid Vertigo sound. With tunes both radio friendly and obscure they continue to reel audiences in. The band is performing regional shows at the moment and heading into the studio in the spring of 2017 to record their first single. Each member contributes to the writing process. The journey is just beginning and we hope you’ll all come along for the ride. Lots of exciting things to come!

 

Meet the members
Jose “Joey Vagabond” Ortiz (Lead vocals and lead/rhythm guitar) Joey joined the band in march of 2018 bringing in phenomenal vocal range, an impressive repertoire of guitar riffs and production skills. Jose grew up in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in which he was exposed to various tropical musical styles (salsa, merengue, bachata and cumbia). However, he gravitated towards Rock and Roll. Some of his strongest influences being NIN, Radiohead, David Bowie. Joey has more than a decade of playing experience having played with bands such as Zueños de un Vagabundo, The Mystery Machine, Gino and Friends and the Pekeke Project 

 

Nick Clayton (Drums/percussion) Nick started managing former members in a previous project then joined in 2014 as the band’s drummer. Born and raised in Southern Maryland he has been involved in the industry since the age of 14, Nick has worked in promoting National Acts as well as providing his talents to Rock, Roll and Life Magazine as a music reviewer. His influences include Chuck Brown, Little Benny, NWA, Ice Cube, The Ramones, Childs Play, Kix, Brian Jack, Charm City Devils, The Vamps, Skin and Bones, The Dictators, The Doors, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Beastie Boys, Led Zepplin, Rush, Bob Marley and Shadowbone.

 

 

 

Andrew Clayton (Lead guitar/backing vocals) Following in the footsteps of his Grandfather and Father, Andrew wanted to be a musician and began playing guitar at age 17. The shy, introvert of the band was born and raised in Southern Maryland. Andrew began writing songs and formed his first band at age 18. His musical influences include 3eb, The Strokes, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, We Are Harlot, The 1975, The Upwelling, The Miss Takes, Shadowbone, John Coltrain, The Cranberries, Arbo Parked, Asking Alexandria, Skid Row, Bob Marley, The Doors and Cat Stevens.

 

 

Timmy Alger (Bass guitar/backing vocals) Timmy started performing his DJ EDM act in 2008 as his alter ego DJ8 Bit Panda and joined the group in 2013 as the bassist. From the Town of Colonial Beach, Timmy brings his charizma and high energy to the band’s live performances. His musical influences include Metalica, Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, Paramore, Red Jumpsuit Apperatus, My Chemical Romance, Skrillex, Deadmaus, Daft Punk, Benny Benhissial and Calvin Harris.
