Bio Roux`d pronounced (Rude) Critical Cirkus
Writing and arranging music since 5 years old Roux`d had always
been around music.
2005 Roux`d helped to form Critical Cirkus and the same year band
releases their first EP entitled Let the Madness Begin. After
receiving great reviews on the EP they play in front of 7000
people at the annual last of April festival in the city of
Uppsala, Sweden.
2006
Cirkus enters the studio again to record their follow up EP Shut
Up N’ Suck. This EP receives eminent reviews from two of the
biggest rock magazines in the Sweden: Close-up Magazine and
Sweden Rock Magazine, as well as great critical response around
the world.
2007
Riding off their successes from Shut Up N’ Suck finding that the
EP has been well received in the US. Cirkus embarks on their
first tour in Los Angeles and southern California, a tour
containing 16 shows in three weeks time. During the successful
tour Cirkus becomes the first band to be broadcasted live on
YouTube via 420channel. Then the band goes back in studio and
records their third EP called Metal Head which receives great
response and the band embark on another US tour for the second
time in less then a year playing old venues and new and playing
live online once more on through 420channel.
2008 – 2009
Returns back to the studio this time in full form and ready to
take on a full-length album called Let the Madness Begin. This
album is self produced and they call on the famous producer,
sound engineer and mixer Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin
Lizzy, Helloween, Anvil, Gary More, Yngwie Malmsteen). The album
gains overwhelming response and send the band back to the US this
time for a seven weeks tour around the country playing more than
20 shows in states like California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado and
New Mexico, travelling 16 200miles.
2010 – 2011
Enters the studio to start working on their follow up album
CitySlicker.
